Annie Bond has a great article on the many uses of epsom salt here, that I highly recommend.
As it relates to fitness, there are 2 benefits that you will LOVE.
1. It reduces swelling and soreness in muscles
2. It removes toxins from your body
It is also EXTREMELY relaxing because it sedates your nervous system- in other words, its so calming its easy to fall asleep in the tub!
So the next time you are feeling sore from a workout, try it and let me know how it works for you!

PS. Caution: drink plenty of water before and after, and use with care if you have sensitive skin!

I have a question not a reply. Where does epsom salts come from? Is it mined like other salts?
